Thank you to Errol Pierre for inviting me to speak at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health last week on a topic near and dear to my heart: the changing economics of healthcare. It was a pleasure to share about the importance of ambulatory surgery centers and the role they can play in driving down the cost of care across our healthcare ecosystem. I hope by encouraging awareness of ASCs it leads to more future leaders thinking: right care, right PLACE, at the right time.
