There are few topics that I would be willing to speak about to a crowd at 8am but driving high value healthcare in our country is absolutely one of them.
Thank you so much to The New York State Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers for inviting me to speak alongside Carol Huffman and Lama EL Zein MD,MHA of EmblemHealth about aligning payers+providers in the ambulatory surgery center space. In a field as confusing as healthcare, creating alignment amongst payers, providers—and of course the patients—is a surefire way to cut through the complexity. The question is how do we get to that alignment so that we can improve quality outcomes and spend our healthcare dollars more wisely.
There are many ways to get after it but happy to share our example.
