One of the complaints I often hear about the healthcare industry is that the large health systems can sometimes seem faceless—especially when patients are trying to resolve a problem but end up bounced across departments. Some things that we think are important to avoid that problem and maintain a personal touch are: handling each patient encounter as if they are our family members; having a team that looks like and sounds like our patients; and, as this picture shows, being able to put a face to a name.

Healthcare can be extremely complicated but sometimes empowering the human being behind each interaction can be as simple as putting a face to the name!
